Geek Squad

I know what you are thinking. They are right there, they are easy to speak to, and they have a sweet car. However, possibly the worst thing that you can do with your hard earned money is give it to Geek Squad. They are overpriced, slow and incompetent.

Hear is a good example of all three

And another good example from work:
Our modems at work are primarily managed by employees, we will give a user the logon if they request it, but we find it much simpler, and fewer stuff gets messed up if we just do it for them. The only IP addresses that can log into the router remotely are that from our offices. This customer had requested the logon information in the past. Geek squad came to their house, and they must have mentioned that we had logged into the router at one point. Mr Geek saw this as a security risk and locked us out off all the accounts using the password "s3cur1ty". How very 1337 of you sir. Way to block your customer from getting help from their own ISP.
